Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alberto Wood (ranked 8915 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yamato Ishii (ranked 6269 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yamato Ishii!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yuuki Gou and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ishii shoots and misses

so Wood counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Wood won't allow Ishii to get back to his feet.
Wood really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Wood postures up and lands a big shot to Ishii's brow.
Wood will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Wood working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Ishii is working an open guard so Wood takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Ishii instigates a clinch.

Wood pulls guard successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ishii loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ishii is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Wood looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Ishii passes into half guard.

Ishii thows a huge punch but Wood dodges it nicely.
Ishii is pressing down on Wood's thigh, looking to free his foot. Wood is holding on for now.
Wood is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Wood controlling the position for now.
Ishii is thwarting Wood's attempts to control the position.

Ishii stops Wood from getting back to his feet.
Ishii wants to control but Wood is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wood has his hands clasped together around Ishii's back. He's all about the action.
Wood is looking to improve his position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Ishii jabs Wood to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Wood lands with a kick to the temple. Ishii shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It's a brutal combination of punches from Ishii! Wood is backing up but he can't get away as Ishii lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Wood and ends the fight. Great knockout.

Yamato Ishii made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'I wanted to join the KFC 135 Grand Prix! If not, then please somebody offer me a good contract! I am a beast and you know it!'.
