Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Git Push (ranked 372 p4p, 51 weight class) and Floyd Maybetter (ranked 2939 p4p, 340 weight class). Floyd Maybetter will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Git Push!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Floyd Maybetter!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maybetter throws an overhand right that lands on Push's shoulder, as Push tries to avoid the shot.
Maybetter misses with a straight left.
Maybetter throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Push wants to clinch but Maybetter slips to the side
and Maybetter counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Nice sprawl there from Maybetter as Push shoots in.
Git Push seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Push looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Maybetter throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Push has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Maybetter finds it's way round the side to connect with Push's head.
Push closes this distance looking for a takedown but Maybetter circles away.
Maybetter now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Nice defenses there by Push.
Push with a poor takedown
and Maybetter counters with a straight right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Git Push. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Push tries to score a power double leg takedown but Maybetter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Push somewhat.
Push takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Push doesn't manage to clinch there - Maybetter circles away.
A lazy left from Maybetter finds it's target.
Maybetter lands with a straight right. Push didn't see that one coming.
Push fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Maybetter fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Push walks into a left hand.
Maybetter throws the left hand but Push avoids the punch easily.
Push looks to clinch
and Maybetter counters with a stiff right hand.
Maybetter swats away the attempt to clinch by Push.
Maybetter misses the shot to the body.
Maybetter sizes up Push with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Maybetter cracks Push with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.


Push is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Push tries to close the distance and clinch up but Maybetter swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Oh Push is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Maybetter circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Push to the canvas! Push doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Maybetter keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Floyd Maybetter!
