Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Azizi Camara (ranked 5486 p4p, 601 weight class) and Billy Kidman (ranked 24631 p4p, 808 weight class). Kidman is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by You Can Run. Azizi Camara could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Billy Kidman's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Billy Kidman!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Seu Braga and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kidman misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Kidman gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Camara counters with a two punch combo.
Camara fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Camara closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kidman's guard.
Camara wants to control from the top but Kidman keeps moving.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Camara won't allow Kidman to sweep him here.
Camara drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kidman manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Camara has Kidman in his guard.
Camara had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kidman defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Camara is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Kidman has his hands clasped together but Camara extends and breaks Kidman's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Camara.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Azizi Camara!
In his post fight interview, Azizi Camara started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
