Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between chaz peti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Curt Moffatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). peti comes to the cage accompanied by Jesus Everywhere I Go. Curt Moffatt struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. chaz peti is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
peti misses with a looping left.
peti scores with a nice head shot.
peti clobbers Moffatt with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Moffatt walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
peti bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Moffatt is looking for a sweep.
Moffatt is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

peti wants to lay and pray for a moment but Moffatt keeps working.

Moffatt is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But peti has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from peti!

Moffatt has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but peti can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Moffatt looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but peti puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Moffatt is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
peti seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
peti misses with a body kick.
peti cracks Moffatt with a right hand to the side of the head.
peti clinches.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Moffatt is trying to work for a single leg takedown but peti pulls him back up using the underhooks.
peti has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Moffatt uses from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
peti looks like he's trying to stand up.

That was a close round but I would say that chaz peti will probably get the nod.

Moffatt bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in peti's guard.

Moffatt uses his free foot to push down on peti's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for peti.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Moffatt is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but peti is surviving well by controlling Moffatt's body position as best he can.

Moffatt is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Moffatt is going olschool here, as he tries to force peti to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so peti shrugs it off.
Moffatt swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and peti is now in Moffatt's guard. A big mistake from Moffatt there, giving up the dominant position!
Moffatt has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. peti is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Moffatt.

That's time! peti's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

peti sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Moffatt is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! peti is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
