The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baird is trying hard to land a takedown here. Landers sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Baird lands a slapping body shot.
Landers shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Baird's guard.
Landers not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Landers wants to control from the top but Baird keeps moving.
Baird is pulling down on Landers's head. It's preventing any offense from Landers, at least for the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Landers is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Landers slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Baird is looking to regain half guard here but Landers keeps moving and retains side control.

Landers is working to tighten his grip on Baird's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Baird has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Landers is really squeezing tight and eventually Baird passes out! Landers breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
