Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blaze Max (ranked 2329 p4p, 241 weight class) and Rico Suarez (ranked 2170 p4p, 226 weight class). Max's entrance music is Charlie Don't Surf. A fine choice. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Blaze Max!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rico Suarez!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Jonathan Paton and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Max scores with a spinning back kick!
Max misses with a body kick.
Max with a lazy takedown attempt
and Suarez counters with a nice uppercut.
Max wants to clinch
and Suarez cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Max crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Suarez - the referee stops the clock and Max gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Suarez. Max manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Max scores with a leg kick.
Max tries a low kick but Suarez avoids it.
Suarez let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Suarez drops Max with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Max looks back up at him and smiles so Suarez waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Max is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Max fails with the takedown
and Suarez counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Max out cold! What a finish! Suarez is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rico Suarez!
A very excited looking Rico Suarez rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
In defeat, Blaze Max stepped up to the mic, saying 'Gotta get back in the gym and punch and tackle the shit out of some roo's !'.
