The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peoples tries to clinch up but Valeto circles away and keeps his distance.
Peoples shoots in and gets a takedown into Valeto's guard.
Valeto knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Peoples on the ground.
Peoples got a little sloppy there for a moment and Valeto has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Peoples has managed to get both his arms back between Valeto's legs - danger averted.
Peoples trying to control but Valeto is working from the bottom.
Peoples advances to half guard.
Valeto is staying active underneath Peoples, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Peoples is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Valeto sees it coming and defends easily.
Valeto wants to get back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Peoples seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Valeto is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
