The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez lands a body shot.
Perez throws a body shot but no joy.
Petkov scores with a kick to the body.
Perez misses with a body shot.
Perez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Petkov swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A swing and a miss from Perez.
Jose Perez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Perez cracks Petkov with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Perez misses the shot to the body.
Petkov finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Perez's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Petkov falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
