Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Adam Khaliev (ranked 3940 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Barbosa (ranked 22270 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Khaliev might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to T-Wayne - Nasty Freestyle. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam Khaliev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jose Barbosa!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbosa chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Khaliev can pounce on him.
Khaliev throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Barbosa is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Barbosa staying out of range there.
Despite the aggression on Barbosa's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Barbosa moves out of range of the strikes.
Khaliev stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
It looks like Jose Barbosa has been cut.
Khaliev looks to land a left hand but Barbosa moved out of range nicely.
Barbosa is looking for the big counter here.
A swing and a miss from Khaliev.
Barbosa lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
A slow jab from Khaliev misses its intended target.
As Khaliev backs off Barbosa throws a huge counter combo but Khaliev manages to avoid it all.

and Barbosa counters with a one-two to the body.
Barbosa is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Khaliev moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Khaliev throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Barbosa colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Khaliev as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Barbosa is left battered and dazed whilst Khaliev and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Adam Khaliev!
