Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Fletcher Bowen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jvr Rane! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rane misses with the combination.
Rane looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Rane fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rane throws a nice looking combination but Bowen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Rane misses with a wild combination.
Rane stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rane wants it to stay on the feet. Rane throws a counter combo. Rane circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rane has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Rane throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Horrible takedown attempt by Bowen or perhaps it was just good defense by Rane, which made it look bad. Bowen tries to clinch but Rane is having none of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rane misses with a wild combination.

and Bowen moves into the clinch. Bowen wants to break free but Rane has control.
Rane manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bowen decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Rane, up you get! Bowen bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Rane is looking to get back to his feet here but Bowen is keeping cool and he's managed to take Rane's back. Rane trying to control the action but Bowen just sinks the hooks in. Bowen is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Rane is defending well though. Bowen let's go of the attempt for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rane covering up well under a series of strikes from Bowen. Bowen scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Rane is looking for a way out. Rane fending off the submission attempt from Bowen. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rane tries to escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bowen has managed to slip his arm under Rane's chin. This could be all over... yep, Rane is tapping out! Submission win for Bowen.
