Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Darnell Cane (ranked 6801 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Freeman (ranked 3990 p4p, 0 weight class). Freeman has chosen Old Firm Casuals - Better start running as his entrance music. Darnell Cane is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Cane.
Freeman throws out a counter right but Cane avoids it with no problem.
Freeman throws a series of punches but Cane moves out of range.
Cane throws a jab when Freeman was well out of range.
Freeman on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Cane throws a shot from downtown. Freeman moves away and avoids it.
Freeman closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Freeman throws a right and a left that Cane avoids nicely.

Cane uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Freeman.
Freeman doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Cane fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Freeman on the side of the head.
Cane connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Freeman uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cane.
Cane tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Freeman was well out of range. Poor timing from Cane.
Cane loads up on a big right hand but Freeman slips the punch.

It seemed like Freeman was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Darnell Cane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Freeman walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cane. Freeman does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cane uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Cane connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Freeman's hands.

so Cane counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Freeman is still in real trouble! Can Cane finish him?

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cane slips nicely into half guard.
Cane scores with a big shot! Freeman's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Freeman! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

Darnell Cane decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
The defeated Nate Freeman had this to say: 'I'm glad the belt went to a fellow LOD member, unfortunately it wasn't me tonight. Sorry to disappoint my fans!'.
