Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Percy Williams (ranked 25176 p4p, 796 weight class) and Ulysses Klaw (ranked 7073 p4p, 638 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Percy Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ulysses Klaw! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Topper Green and Damien Edna.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams fails with an attempt to clinch.
Williams with a poor takedown and Klaw counters with a straight right hand.
Williams rushes Klaw and presses him up against the cage. Williams wants to take the fight to the mat but Klaw manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Klaw breaks from the clinch.
Williams shoots in but Klaw avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Percy Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Klaw feints and then cracks Williams's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Williams down. Williams fails with the takedown.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Williams goes for a double leg but Klaw avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Klaw continues to drive forward.
Williams drives through and clinches with Klaw against the cage.
Klaw manages to break the clinch.
Williams fails to land the takedown. Klaw misses the shot to the body. Left hook, right uppercut from Williams. Klaw avoids the head kick by Williams.

 That's two minutes gone in the round.
Williams closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Williams lands in his opponent's guard. Klaw managing to control the position. Klaw keeping moving, preventing Williams from controlling successfully. Williams controlling from the top position.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams looking to pass the guard. Klaw looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Klaw is trying to control the position but Williams postures up.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Williams shoots for a double leg takedown but Klaw sprawls well. He's pushed Williams's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A nice side step and Klaw releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Klaw tries to keep at a distance but Williams has taken the fight into the clinch. Klaw is trying to break free.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Klaw breaks the clinch.
Williams shoots and misses and Klaw connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Williams has taken the fight to the clinch.
Williams tries to score a body lock takedown but Klaw shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Klaw manages to break the clinch.
Williams is looking to land body kicks. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Klaw keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Klaw throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Williams's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Klaw dives in looking to finish as Williams flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Klaw's strikes! Klaw is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Williams's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Williams was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ulysses Klaw! A relieved looking Ulysses Klaw thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
