Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Iuri Ferreia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leanderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Iuri Ferreia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Leanderson Silva! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Thiago Cunha and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Silva throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ferreia works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Silva trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Silva stands up from Ferreia's guard - Silva perhaps looking for a knockout. Ferreia gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily so Silva counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Silva trying to control the position from guard on top but Ferreia is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ferreia looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Ferreia is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva manages to escape and get back to his feet! Ferreia shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Silva counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Silva. Silva pulls guard effortlessly. Silva looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Ferreia puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Ferreia is keen to just control but Silva is a slippery customer. Silva is looking to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva wants to get back to full guard but Ferreia has passed into side control. Silva is trying desperately to improve position. Silva looks gassed! Ferreia is going olschool here, as he tries to force Silva to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Silva shrugs it off. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silva flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva manages to regain half guard. Good work. Ferreia is pressing down on Silva's thigh, looking to free his foot. Silva is holding on for now. Silva is looking to improve his position.
Silva won't allow Ferreia to pass to mount. Silva looking for submissions off his back. Silva wants to improve his position but Ferreia is controlling well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ferreia is tying to control. Silva wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Silva shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Silva showed some decent athleticism there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leanderson Silva dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Silva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Silva postures up in Ferreia's guard and throws a big left but Ferreia blocks it. Silva working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Silva must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Ferreia is trying to control the position but Silva postures up. Ferreia is pulling down on Silva's head. It's preventing any offense from Silva, at least for the moment. Silva is looking to stand up but Ferreia won't let him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ferreia is on top in guard.
Silva tries to land a sweep but no joy. Ferreia passes into half guard under a barage of strikes. Ferreia is thwarting Silva's attempts to control the position. Ferreia is looking to take a break and control but Silva is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Silva is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ferreia seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Silva does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Ferreia controlling the action here. Silva is looking to control Ferreia's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Silva avoid being mounted?
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Silva closes the distance and pushes Ferreia back into the cage. Silva manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Ferreia seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva wants to stand and escape but Ferreia is having none of it. Ferreia stopping the sweep attempt from Silva. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva wants to control but Ferreia passes easily into half guard.
Silva is trying to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Ferreia performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Ferreia is looking to take a break and control but Silva is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Silva is concentrating on defense, preventing Ferreia from advancing position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leanderson Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!
Silva goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Silva shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Ferreia wants to hold on but Silva pushes him away. Silva prevents Ferreia from getting the reversal. Ferreia is squirming around, avoiding Silva's attempts to control the action. Silva throws a sloppy strike and Ferreia uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Ferreia has ended up in Silva's guard.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Silva is trying to maintain the position but Ferreia is very close to passing his half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ferreia is looking for a kimura but Silva is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ferreia to get the leverage. Silva wants to get back to his feet. Silva trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Ferreia manages to pass to mount!
Silva tries to lock up and control but Ferreia gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Ferreia tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Silva is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Ferreia working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Silva looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Ferreia! Submission of the night perhaps?
