Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Xaito Siu (ranked 6217 p4p, 417 weight class) and Gato Wali (ranked 6222 p4p, 411 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xaito Siu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gato Wali!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Siu avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Siu dives in and grabs Wali's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wali pushes down on Siu's head and hops out.
Wali drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Siu sneaks out the side door and pushes Wali away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Siu seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Siu is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Wali tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Siu tries to stand but Wali is controlling from the bottom.
Wali is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Wali not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Wali has his foot on Siu's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Siu works his way back into a safe position though.

Wali is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wali is on top in guard.
Siu knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wali on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Siu utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Wali won't allow Siu to sweep him here.
Siu manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wali manages to get himself to full guard.

Wali pushes a forearm under Siu's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Siu is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
