Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Watin Qary (ranked 7369 p4p, 436 weight class) and Dhino Savi (ranked 7410 p4p, 442 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Watin Qary! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dhino Savi! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Savi fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Qary really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Qary stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Qary wants it to stay on the feet. Nice shot lands for Qary. Savi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Savi tries to keep at a distance but Qary has taken the fight into the clinch. Savi gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Qary regains guard.
Qary looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Qary will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Savi is looking to work some ground and pound but Qary has wrist control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Qary is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Qary keeping moving, preventing Savi from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Qary escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Savi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Savi slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Qary looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Savi has picked Qary up and slammed him! Qary can't keep hold of the triangle and Savi manages to pass to side control! Savi working away. Savi trying to control the action but Qary is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Qary wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Qary parries the strikes from Savi easily there. Savi is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Qary to escape.
Qary manages to get back to half guard. Savi landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Qary is trying to get back to full guard. Savi is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Qary is not content to let Savi control the position. Qary is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Qary shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Savi's guard. Savi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Qary gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Savi keeping moving, preventing Qary from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Qary throws a big elbow that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Savi is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Qary with a nice head shot there. Qary passes Savi's left leg - he's now in half guard. Qary trying to control the action but Savi is working from the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Watin Qary will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Savi decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Qary is defending against the submission attempts here by Savi.

Savi thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Savi is keen to just control but Qary is a slippery customer. Qary trying to control from the bottom.
Savi working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Qary's thigh. Qary counters though and makes it back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Savi wants to control from the top but Qary keeps moving. Qary is looking to stand up but Savi isn't so interested in that idea. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Qary tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Savi shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Savi fails with a takedown attempt. Savi is breathing heavily. Savi misses with the combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Qary circles away from the clinch attempt and Qary counters with a left to the body. Qary tries to score a power double leg takedown but Savi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Qary somewhat. Savi dodges the punch combination from Qary.
Savi wants to clinch but Qary slips to the side and Qary counters with a two punch combo. Qary slaps away a takedown attempt from Savi, before circling back to the center of the mat. Watin Qary has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dhino Savi.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Savi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Qary sprawls well. Qary wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Savi gets slowly back to his feet. Nice takedown defense from Savi. No joy for Qary on that attempt. Qary shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Savi as he jumps to the side. Savi tries to clinch but Qary is having none of it. Qary went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Qary fails in his attempt to clinch. Savi shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Qary manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Qary controls Savi momentarily but Savi frees himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Savi tries to stand but Qary is controlling from the bottom. Qary not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Qary has his foot on Savi's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Savi works his way back into a safe position though. Savi sitting in guard, not really doing much. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Watin Qary will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

That will dishearten Qary somewhat. Savi closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Savi keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Savi should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Savi is looking for a kimura here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Savi preventing the sweep. Qary keeping moving, preventing Savi from controlling successfully. Qary trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Qary looking for a guillotine here but Savi defends easily.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Savi postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Qary is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Savi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Savi fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Qary to the ground. Savi is now in Qary's guard. Savi would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Qary on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Qary tries to get out of the position. Savi preventing the sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Savi stands up from guard. Let's bang! Qary fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Watin Qary. That's going to take a lot out of him. Savi throws the kick towards the body but Qary avoids it. Savi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Qary's guard. Savi tries to free his leg and advance position but Qary is retaining full guard. Qary throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Qary looking for a sweep. Not yet Qary, not yet. Savi chips away with some ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Savi is looking to work some ground and pound but Qary has wrist control. Savi postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Savi drops back, looking for a kneebar! Qary looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Qary looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Qary! Qary wants to lay and pray for a moment but Savi keeps working. Savi manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Dhino Savi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Watin Qary is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Qary is looking to escape.
And that's the end of the fight! Dhino Savi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Qary has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
