Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Antonio Camatta (ranked 459 p4p, 58 weight class) and Waldo Claudiano (ranked 2646 p4p, 284 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 8 wins and 8 losses; Antonio Camatta! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 7 wins and 2 losses; Waldo Claudiano! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Donald Grub.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Camatta shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Claudiano defends it nicely. Claudiano tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. No luck for Camatta with that takedown attempt. Camatta decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Camatta (2) vs (0) Claudiano Claudiano is refusing to be controlled, as Camatta sits in half guard. Camatta working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Claudiano's thigh. Claudiano counters though and makes it back to full guard. Camatta wants to control from the top but Claudiano keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Camatta is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Claudiano is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Our spies down at at AREA 51 inform us that Claudiano has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Camatta controlling from the top position. Camatta works a leg free and moves into half guard. Claudiano is staying active underneath Camatta, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Camatta is taking a breather. Claudiano says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Camatta is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Claudiano defends it well.
