Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Miguel Suarez Costa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pedro Changg! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Changg shoots for a double leg takedown but Suarez Costa sprawls well. He's pushed Changg's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Changg looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Suarez Costa is fending him off so far but Changg persists. Nope, Suarez Costa circles away and we're back to standing. Suarez Costa has a takedown stuffed. Changg tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Suarez Costa defends well and Changg ends up having to push Suarez Costa into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Miguel Suarez Costa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pedro Changg. Changg gets a double leg takedown into Suarez Costa's guard. Suarez Costa scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Suarez Costa tries to counter by clinching up but Changg breaks away and moves out of range. Suarez Costa pushes Changg up against the cage in a clinch. Changg should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Suarez Costa jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Changg walks away with a smile on his face. Suarez Costa gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Changg swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Changg closes this distance looking for a takedown but Suarez Costa circles away. Suarez Costa is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Changg. Suarez Costa clinches with his opponent.

Changg wants to hit a switch here but Suarez Costa passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Changg there! Suarez Costa punching from mount but Changg doing a good job of avoiding damage. Changg is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Suarez Costa misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Changg squirms to his side and now Suarez Costa has his back! Suarez Costa is riding his opponent, not letting Changg buck him off. You can see the frustration on Changg's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

He's got his arms around Suarez Costa's waist but Suarez Costa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Changg off to one side. Changg clinches. Suarez Costa jumps guard but Changg turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Stalling in the clinch from Changg.

Pedro Changg showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Changg creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Suarez Costa sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Suarez Costa is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Changg looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Miguel Suarez Costa overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Changg working the strikes but Suarez Costa uses the opportunity to regain half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Suarez Costa manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Suarez Costa working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Changg. Changg throwing strikes but missing. Changg tries to free his leg and advance position but Suarez Costa is retaining full guard.

Changg loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Suarez Costa buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Changg tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Suarez Costa swivels and escapes. Suarez Costa shoots in for a takedown but Changg shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Changg shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Suarez Costa as he jumps to the side. Changg defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Suarez Costa. Suarez Costa shoots and misses and Changg counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Suarez Costa thinking. Changg closes the distance and clinches. Changg breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Changg moves into the clinch. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Suarez Costa jumps guard but Changg stands there with Suarez Costa around his waist. Suarez Costa gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
