Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Griffin Heath (ranked 876 p4p, 128 weight class) and Lee Date (ranked 577 p4p, 87 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Heath might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Fuck Dat Ass · DJ Funk. This should be fireworks!

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Date swings widly with a right hand
and Heath counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Heath fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Date has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Heath looks to throw a body kick
enabling Date to counter with a crisp jab.
Heath connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Heath pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
No joy there for Date, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Griffin Heath seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
