Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Donnie Siesta (ranked 5606 p4p, 569 weight class) and Rob Hammond (ranked 4075 p4p, 449 weight class). Rob Hammond will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Donnie Siesta! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rob Hammond! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Siesta moves out of range as Hammond strikes. Siesta tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Hammond manages to circle out of the way. Siesta avoids the body shot from Hammond.
Hammond misses with a looping left. Hammond has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Siesta throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Siesta fails in his attempt to clinch. Siesta scores with a body shot.
Hammond avoids the body shot from Siesta.
Siesta really is a fat lump. Siesta takes a jab right on the kisser.
It looks like Donnie Siesta has been cut. Siesta throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hammond sees it coming and avoids it easily. Siesta tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hammond manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. The crowd cheers as Hammond lands an impressive looking overhand right. Siesta doesn't seem phased though. Siesta lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hammond circles away quickly and effectively. Hammond is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Hammond misses with a wild body shot. Siesta is looking to clinch but Hammond is avoiding it.
Hammond throws a hook to the side of Siesta's head but Siesta sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Siesta tries to clinch there but Hammond circles away.
Siesta feints a jab promting Hammond to slip. Siesta then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Hammond slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Siesta closes the distance looking to clinch and Hammond cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Hammond throws a hook to the side of Siesta's head but Siesta sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Hammond throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Donnie Siesta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Siesta wants to clinch. Siesta throws an overhand right that lands on Hammond's shoulder, as Hammond tries to avoid the shot. Siesta tries to clinch but Hammond moves out of range. Hammond takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Siesta is looking to clinch. Siesta ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Hammond misses with a hook. Siesta wants to clinch. Hammond misses with a hook. Siesta looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Siesta throws out a leg kick but Hammond moves out of range and Siesta only half commits. Siesta ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hammond moves away. Hammond might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. A big left from Hammond misses. Siesta ducks right into an uppercut from Hammond. Hammond avoids the body shot from Siesta.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Siesta defending well as Hammond loads up on a big left hand. Siesta swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Some wild striking there from Siesta.

Siesta is rocked! Siesta walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Siesta limp body while Hammond jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rob Hammond! Our winner, Rob Hammond, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
