Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gary Glitter (ranked 5268 p4p, 592 weight class) and Oberyn Martel (ranked 5217 p4p, 585 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gary Glitter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oberyn Martel!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glitter looks to score with a jab to the body but Martel is just out of range.
Glitter circles away from the clinch attempt
and Glitter connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Martel shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Glitter went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Martel has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Martel there as he acknowledges the shot.
It looks like Oberyn Martel has been cut.
Martel defending well as Glitter loads up on a big left hand.
Glitter gets tackled into the cage by Martel. Martel maintains the clinch.
Martel lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Glitter backwards.
Martel misses with a short punch on the inside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Martel can't get the takedown.
Martel swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Martel drops down looking for an ankle pick but Glitter pulls his leg out and moves away.
Gary Glitter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oberyn Martel.
Martel shoots in looking for a takedown. Glitter tries to sprawl out of it but Martel keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Glitter manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Martel tries to clinch but Glitter moves away
and Glitter counters with a crisp one two that drops Martel! Glitter thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Martel to his feet! Martel is in big trouble!
Martel throws an off balance right hand
and Glitter counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Martel with a lazy takedown attempt
and Glitter counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Martel badly! Glitter follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Martel out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Glitter finished him against the cage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Gary Glitter!
