The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klein tries to sprawl but Jonhson drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Klein really is a fat lump.
Klein is looking for a sweep. Jonhson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Klein wants to get back to his feet.
Klein keeps control of the position for the meantime.

Jonhson is standing up over Klein. Klein looks to escape but Jonhson dives into side control.
Klein bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Jonhson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jonhson showed some decent athleticism there.

Jonhson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rashad Jonhson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jonhson slips a jab and a cross from Klein.
Jonhson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Klein might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Jonhson has his foot on Klein's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Klein works his way back into a safe position though.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Klein accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Jonhson stands up over Klein, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Klein has Jonhson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Klein pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Jonhson tumbling to the mat - Klein dives into Jonhson's guard.

Klein is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jonhson can do to turn this around?

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Klein remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
