Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John Cena (ranked 6232 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Rogan (ranked 5010 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Cena! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Rogan! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rogan throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Cena counters with a three punch combo that has Rogan backing up. Rogan nods at Cena to acknowledge the strikes. Horrible takedown attempt by Cena or perhaps it was just good defense by Rogan, which made it look bad. Cena forces Rogan back against the cage and clinches. Rogan on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Rogan is pushing Cena up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Rogan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cena gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Rogan wants the takedown. Cena is fighting it off but Rogan persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Cena's guard against the cage. Rogan not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Cena controls Rogan momentarily but Rogan frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rogan stops Cena from standing up. Rogan sitting in guard here, content to control. Rogan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Rogan cracks Cena with a solid left hand. Rogan sitting in guard, not really doing much. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Rogan trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. No luck for Rogan with that takedown attempt. Cena slaps away a takedown attempt from Rogan, before circling back to the center of the mat. Cena lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Cena tries a head kick but it misses.
Rogan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. John Cena has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Rogan.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cena closes the distance and pushes Rogan back into the cage. Rogan is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Cena pulls him back up using the underhooks. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Cena is trying to pull guard but Rogan turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Cena drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rogan jumps into guard, dragging Cena to the mat.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Rogan holds on and takes a little breather. Rogan lands some strikes from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rogan pulls Cena in to control the position. Cena pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rogan is keeping the position for now. Cena wants to stand but Rogan has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Cena is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Rogan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cena can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Rogan wants to sweep here but Cena controlling him for the moment.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Cena dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Rogan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Cena clinches up against the cage. Cena tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Rogan avoids it. Cena has had enough of the clinch but Rogan keeps him there for the moment. Cena has Rogan pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rogan manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Cena wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rogan has him pressed against the cage. Rogan wants to take the fight to the mat but Cena manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Cena tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rogan smiles and moves away.
Rogan misses with an uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cena shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Rogan decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Cena's guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Cena. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rogan slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Rogan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Cena's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rogan controlling the action here. Rogan is trying to control. Cena wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Rogan controlling the action here. Cena wants to improve his position but Rogan is controlling well.
Cena is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Rogan's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Rogan's back! Joe Rogan has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cena punches the canvas rather than the man. Rogan tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Rogan wants to control but Cena is having none of it. Cena unloads with some shots from mount but Rogan bucks and avoids them well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rogan can do anything to dispel that myth. Rogan is squirming around, avoiding Cena's attempts to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cena looking to ground and pound but Rogan is blocking nicely. Rogan tries to hold on but Cena pushes him away. Rogan's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Rogan is squirming around, avoiding Cena's attempts to control the action. Rogan is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Rogan throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Cena is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Rogan can do to turn this around? Rogan is working to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cena goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Rogan turns into him and now he's in Cena's guard.
Cena is trying to control the position but Rogan postures up. Rogan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Cena being controlled here, momentarily. Rogan postures up.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that John Cena will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Cena closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Rogan pulls Cena into guard.

Rogan keeping moving, preventing Cena from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cena controls from within his opponent's guard. Rogan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rogan trying to control the action but Cena is working from the bottom. Cena is trying to maintain the position but Rogan is very close to passing his half guard. Rogan tries to stand and escape but Cena is controlling the position. Cena is looking for a sweep. Rogan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Rogan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cena keeps working. Well, if Rogan is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Cena has hold of Rogan's hands but Rogan slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Cena tries to roll over but Rogan keeps him under control. Cena slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Cena throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Rogan lands a couple of digs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cena working a defensive guard but Rogan manages to pass into side control anyway.
Rogan working away. Rogan advances to mount. Rogan sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Cena sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rogan lands strikes from half guard. Cena moves into full guard.
Rogan is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Rogan works a leg free and moves into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Joe Rogan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Cena has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
