Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Bishop (ranked 3640 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Wright (ranked 24364 p4p, 0 weight class). Wright has chosen Warped Mind as his entrance music. Alex Wright will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jake Bishop! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alex Wright! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wright wants to clinch. Wright lands a big head kick that sends Bishop tumbling to the mat! Wright takes a step backwards and waves Bishop back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Bishop is rocked!
It looks like Jake Bishop has been cut. Bishop shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Wright looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Bishop fails in his attempt to clinch. Wright shapes to counter with a head kick. Bishop shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wright pinned against the cage. Wright gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Bishop clinches. Bishop tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Wright just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Bishop. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bishop jumps guard but Wright stands there with Bishop around his waist. Bishop gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Wright pulls guard successfully.
Bishop throws a strike but Wright rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Bishop is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Bishop keeping moving, preventing Wright from controlling successfully. Wright really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bishop. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wright controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bishop managing to control the position. Bishop doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Bishop could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Bishop keeping moving, preventing Wright from controlling successfully. Bishop has his hands on Wright's head, controlling the position. Wright stops Bishop from standing up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bishop has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Wright should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Bishop has tightened it up now! Wright should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Jake Bishop! In defeat, Alex Wright stepped up to the mic, saying 'When I sign a contract, I really want to give 180%. And if I can't give that, it's just not fair to the promotion and it's not fair to the fans and it's not fair to myself'.
