Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Bladon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers tries to clinch there but Bladon circles away.
Powers doesn't manage to clinch there - Bladon circles away.
Powers shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Bladon has a hand on Powers's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Powers takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Powers controlling his opponent.
Powers has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bladon's face.
Bladon is trying to escape the mount.
Powers pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Bladon tries to control Powers's body but Powers pushes him off. Bladon squirms to his side and now Powers has his back!
Bladon wants to escape the position.

Powers scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
Powers struggling to keep hold of the position.
Bladon manages to reverse the position and now he's in Powers's guard. Nice work there by Bladon.
Powers pushes Bladon off and scrambles back to his feet.
Bladon misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Powers tries to clinch there but Bladon circles away.
Powers takes the fight into the clinch.
Powers gets control of Bladon's arms and successfully pulls guard. Powers will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Powers had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bladon is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Powers Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bladon's back instead.

Bladon looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

I really don't envy Bladon right now.
Bladon has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Powers.
Bladon manages to reverse the position and now he's in Powers's guard. Nice work there by Bladon.
Powers wants to get back to his feet but Bladon is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Powers.
A combination from Powers does no damage.
Powers pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Powers tries to clinch there but Bladon circles away.
Bladon fails in his attempt to clinch.
Bladon fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Powers.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Bladon wants to clinch.
Powers shoots in for a double leg but Bladon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bladon is looking to clinch but Powers is avoiding it.

and Powers counters with a left to the body.
Bladon misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Powers closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Bladon lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bladon.
Powers looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bladon is fending him off so far but Powers persists. Nope, Bladon circles away and we're back to standing.

and Powers counters with a one-two to the body.
Bladon tries to clinch up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rocky Powers dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Bladon moves into the clinch.
Powers lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Bladon.
Powers ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Powers no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Powers sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bladon's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Powers content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Powers wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bladon keeps working.

Powers prevents Bladon from improving his position.
It looks like Powers is going to stand back up.
Bladon wants to sweep but Powers has passed to side control!
Powers looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Bladon is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Powers's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Powers stands up from Bladon's guard - Powers perhaps looking for a knockout.
Powers shoots in but no luck this time.
Bladon is looking to clinch but Powers is avoiding it.
Bladon tries to clinch there but Powers circles away.
Powers gets the takedown into side control.
Powers controls the position.
Powers is trying to ground and pound but Bladon uses the momentary lack of control by Powers to regain half guard.

The fighters are battling for position here. Bladon manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Powers must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Bladon manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Powers manages to get himself to full guard.
Powers is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bladon is controlling him.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Powers wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rocky Powers showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Bladon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Powers's guard.

Powers is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Bladon tries to free his leg and advance position but Powers is retaining full guard.

Powers is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Powers is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Bladon manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Bladon goes for an armbar but Powers turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Powers.
Bladon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Powers's guard.
And that's the end of the fight!
Rocky Powers comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Powers winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
