Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bennie Dillon (ranked 25713 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Clark (ranked 6283 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas Clark will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 1, fighting out of New York, Bennie Dillon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Thomas Clark!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Reed Andrews and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clark throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dillon's waist but Dillon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Clark off to one side.
Dillon stuffs the takedown attempt from Clark. Clark gets slowly back to his feet.
Dillon scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Clark tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dillon swivels and escapes.
Dillon tried to counter with a leg kick but Clark avoided it.
Bennie Dillon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas Clark.
Clark tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dillon defends well and Clark ends up having to push Dillon into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Clark shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dillon as he jumps to the side.
Dillon seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Clark shoots in looking for a takedown but Dillon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Clark's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Clark throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dillon lands with a slapping head kick.
Clark ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dillon moves away.
Clark shoots in for a takedown but Dillon shows good takedown defense.
Dillon appears to be looking for a big counter.
Clark looks winded!
Dillon checks the leg kick nicely there.
Clark looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dillon is fending him off so far but Clark persists. Nope, Dillon circles away and we're back to standing.
Clark misses with a jab, cross combination.
Clark shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dillon as he avoids it easily.

Bennie Dillon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Dillon really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dillon has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Clark uses from the top position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Clark accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Dillon is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Dillon is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Dillon cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Dillon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
