Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Diego Gaspar (ranked 2696 p4p, 130 weight class) and Allan Omega (ranked 3957 p4p, 187 weight class). Omega has chosen OMEGA NJPW as his entrance music. Allan Omega has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Diego Gaspar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Allan Omega! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Omega throws a predictable looking body shot
and Gaspar makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Omega swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Omega closes the distance and lands a one-two. Omega looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Gaspar drives through and clinches with Omega against the cage.
Omega is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Gaspar successfully pulls guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gaspar is on top in guard.
Gaspar tries to free his leg and advance position but Omega is retaining full guard. Gaspar drops back looking for a leg! Omega is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Omega manages to kick Gaspar off! Gaspar jumps back into Omega's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gaspar forces his way into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Omega has one foot on Gaspar's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Omega throws a hook but Gaspar avoids it easily. Omega connects with a looping right hand.
Omega lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Gaspar fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Omega, pushing him back against the cage. Omega is trying to break the clinch but Gaspar is controlling him. Omega is trying to break the clinch but Gaspar has him pressed against the cage. Omega blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Gaspar jumps into guard, dragging Omega to the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gaspar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Omega gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gaspar throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Gaspar has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Omega should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Gaspar has tightened it up now! Omega should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Diego Gaspar!
