Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nikos Basoukos (ranked 6228 p4p, 410 weight class) and Kamil Reljic (ranked 7614 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Basoukos tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Reljic manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Basoukos fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Basoukos looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Reljic is fending him off so far but Basoukos persists. Nope, Reljic circles away and we're back to standing.

Reljic fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Reljic has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Basoukos regains guard immediately.
Basoukos utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Basoukos tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Reljic just stands there and leans against the cage.

Basoukos knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Reljic on the ground.
Basoukos is fighting to break Reljic's control of his arms but Reljic is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Let's hope that Reljic has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Reljic tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Reljic has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Basoukos closes the distance and clinches up with Reljic, looking for a takedown. Basoukos pushes Reljic against the cage but Reljic circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Basoukos working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Reljic doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Reljic manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Reljic throws a sloppy strike and Basoukos uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Basoukos has ended up in Reljic's guard.

Reljic has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Basoukos off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Reljic in particular looking to stall.
Reljic thows a huge punch but Basoukos dodges it nicely.

Reljic decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Reljic feints and as Basoukos raises his hands in defense, Reljic changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Reljic sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Basoukos's guard.
Reljic perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Reljic decides to stand and escape the position.
Reljic ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Basoukos moves away.
Reljic closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Basoukos's guard.
Reljic stays in close to Basoukos's body and controls the position.

Well Reljic has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
