Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Zalio Suiol (ranked 7417 p4p, 445 weight class) and Gato Wali (ranked 6704 p4p, 425 weight class). Zalio Suiol has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zalio Suiol!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gato Wali!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suiol misses with a takedown attempt - Wali sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Suiol tries a head kick but it misses.
Suiol misses with a jab, cross combination.
Wali with the counter takedown but Suiol avoids it easily.
Suiol has his takedown stuffed

and Wali counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Wali.
Wali is in close to Suiol's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Suiol is pulling down on Wali's head. It's preventing any offense from Wali, at least for the moment.
Wali slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wali thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Wali has control of an arm but Suiol manages to advance to Wali's back!
Wali rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wali keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Suiol missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Suiol is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Wali defends it well.
Wali is looking to control Suiol's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Wali avoid being mounted?
Wali is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Suiol's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Suiol's back!

Wali is riding his opponent, not letting Suiol buck him off.
Suiol might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Suiol won't enjoy being in this position. Wali looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Suiol is tapping - it's over boys! Wali picks up the submission victory!

After winning the bout, Gato Wali thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
