Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Thomas Cromwell (ranked 8872 p4p, 705 weight class) and Giennadiy Tchestov (ranked 2431 p4p, 92 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Thomas Cromwell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Giennadiy Tchestov! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Columbo Gatti and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tchestov scores with a spinning back kick! Thomas Cromwell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tchestov keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Tchestov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Cromwell looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Tchestov on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Tchestov connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Tchestov bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Cromwell misses with a two punch combination.
Tchestov throws a sloppy head kick and Cromwell moves out of range easily. Tchestov throws a head kick that misses. Cromwell throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Tchestov moves forwards but Cromwell connects with a nice, crisp jab. Tchestov throws out a head kick that Cromwell doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Cromwell crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Cromwell's eyes and has decided to let it go on!
Cromwell is rocked!
It looks like Thomas Cromwell has been cut. Cromwell looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cromwell swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Oh Cromwell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Tchestov bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A jab lands there for Cromwell. Cromwell leaves his chin hanging out and Tchestov seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Cromwell crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
