Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chris Barrie (ranked 22455 p4p, 708 weight class) and Tony Miyazaki (ranked 21986 p4p, 687 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chris Barrie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tony Miyazaki! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barrie tests Miyazaki's chin there with a solid looking shot. Miyazaki fails with the takedown and Barrie cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A punch lands to the side of Miyazaki 's head but he takes it in his stride. The fighters circle momentarily. Barrie darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Miyazaki shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Barrie counters with a one-two to the body. Barrie lands a glancing blow to the side of Miyazaki's head. Barrie connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Miyazaki's hands. Barrie lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Barrie. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Miyazaki tries a low kick but Barrie avoids it. Barrie looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Miyazaki with a poor takedown letting Barrie counter with a right hand. Chris Barrie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Miyazaki. Miyazaki takes one to the chin there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miyazaki tries to clinch up and Barrie counters with a lovely straight right hand! Miyazaki misses with a takedown attempt and Barrie counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Barrie scores with a nice head shot. Miyazaki darts in trying to clinch and Barrie connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Barrie is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Miyazaki is looking to clinch. Barrie was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Miyazaki looks to clinch and Miyazaki takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Barrie circles away from the clinch attempt and Barrie counters with a left and a right that stings Miyazaki.
Miyazaki is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miyazaki ducks right into an uppercut from Barrie. Miyazaki is still on wobbly legs! Can Barrie finish him? Miyazaki has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Barrie finds it's way round the side to connect with Miyazaki's head. This has been an exciting period of action! Miyazaki gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Barrie gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Miyazaki is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
