Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Armando Guthrie (ranked 25728 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christiano Ronaldo (ranked 7225 p4p, 0 weight class). Christiano Ronaldo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Armando Guthrie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Christiano Ronaldo! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Donald Grub and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guthrie gets caught napping as Ronaldo dives in and scores a takedown. Guthrie manages to retain guard. Guthrie is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Ronaldo gets a trip takedown into half guard. Guthrie has one foot on Ronaldo's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ronaldo looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Guthrie! A bit of a lull in the action here. Guthrie pushes Ronaldo away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Ronaldo gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Ronaldo wants to stand but Guthrie has his arm trapped. Ronaldo working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guthrie is trying to get back to his feet. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Guthrie really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Ronaldo is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Guthrie has escaped the position, nice work there. Ronaldo wants to control but Guthrie is keeping him busy. Ronaldo controls the position from side control. Guthrie is not content to let Ronaldo control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Guthrie manages to get back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ronaldo thows a huge punch but Guthrie dodges it nicely.
Ronaldo tries to pass to full mount but Guthrie defends it. Ronaldo wants to stand but Guthrie has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Ronaldo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Guthrie is staying active underneath Ronaldo, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Ronaldo wants to stand up but Guthrie is controlling the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ronaldo is just content to waste time from the top position. Guthrie takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Ronaldo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Guthrie is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Guthrie has escaped and now he's on top! Ronaldo looking to control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Armando Guthrie will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Guthrie is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Ronaldo trying to strike off his back.

That's one minute gone in the round. Guthrie is thwarting Ronaldo's attempts to control the position. Ronaldo tries to roll over but Guthrie keeps him under control. Guthrie sitting and controlling from the half guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Ronaldo clinches.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Ronaldo controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Guthrie is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Guthrie utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Christiano Ronaldo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Ronaldo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Guthrie's guard. Ronaldo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Guthrie is proving hard to escape from.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ronaldo trying to control the position from guard on top but Guthrie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Guthrie wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Ronaldo manages to pass to side control. Ronaldo is looking to advance position but Guthrie won't allow it. Guthrie wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ronaldo is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Ronaldo wants to take a breather but Guthrie is having none of it.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. A momentary lapse in concentration from Ronaldo enables Guthrie to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ronaldo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Guthrie will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Ronaldo pulls Guthrie in close to his closed guard and prevents Guthrie from doing any damage or advancing position. Guthrie wants to get up but he can't break Ronaldo's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Ronaldo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Guthrie is one step ahead there. Ronaldo is adopting a defensive guard. Guthrie content to stall in guard here. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ronaldo wants to sweep here but Guthrie controlling him for the moment.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Christiano Ronaldo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ronaldo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Christiano Ronaldo! A very excited looking Christiano Ronaldo rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
