And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Dean Styles and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Konate lands a really nice looking cross but Rojas seems unphased.
Konate scores with a shot to the body.
Konate fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A shot to the liver by Konate. Beautiful body shot.
Konate just misses with a punch to the body.
Rojas tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Konate throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Jab, jab by Rojas - just one landing.
Rojas connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Konate momentarily.
Good leg kick by Rojas there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Konate pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Rojas misses with a head kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Konate fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Rojas checks it well.
Rojas throws a quick counter head kick but Konate was just out of range.
Rojas listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Konate takes a swing at Rojas's ribcage but misses.
Konate tries to bum rush Rojas with a series of wild strikes but Rojas uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Konate throws a poor cross that misses
and Rojas counters with a slapping leg kick.
Konate lands a jab to Rojas's midsection.
Konate scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Rojas looks for the body kick but Konate saw that one coming.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Konate throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rojas thinks about countering with a head kick.
Rojas lands a leg kick that knocks Konate off balance momentarily.
Rojas moves out of range of the leg kick from Konate.
Konate throws a right and a left that Rojas avoids nicely.
Konate misses the shot to the body.
Konate misses with a looping left.
Konate takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Rojas lands with a nice body kick.
Rojas connects with a jab.
Konate keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rojas.
Konate moves forwards but Rojas connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Konate takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Rojas fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Konate is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rojas feints a jab and as Konate dips his head, Rojas unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Konate right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Konate falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Rojas smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Matheo Rojas!

A relieved looking Matheo Rojas thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Leonardo Konate was interviewed post fight and said 'I am thankful of those who supported me going into this fight, my parents back home in monaco, manager, coaches in the gym and my sparring partners at touch of death combat academy.'.
