Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pony Pony! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Eldar Smith! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith is looking to clinch but Pony is avoiding it.
Smith gets cracked there but stands up to it.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Pony misses with a knee strike.
A shot in the inside from Pony. Pony with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Pony lands a knee to the head.
Smith wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pony tries to work over Smith's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Smith wants to get back to striking at distance but Pony won't allow it.
Pony blocks a body shot from Smith. Pony tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Smith misses with a body punch.

Smith is trying to force a seperation but Pony has the dominant position. Smith on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Pony wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Smith has him pressed against the ropes. Smith is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Pony is defending well for now. Good body shot from Pony.

Smith is looking to clinch. Smith has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. A punch combination from Smith misses. Pony bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Pony clinches. Pony tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Pony scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Pony Pony is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Smith drives through and clinches with Pony against the ropes.
Pony breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Eldar Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pony throws a head kick but Smith moves out of range.

A little feinted left hand from Pony on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smith connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Pony scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Pony slips under a jab from Smith. Pony is looking to counter with head kicks. Pony is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Smith can do to turn this around?
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Smith clinches up against the ropes. Smith has a couple of punches blocked by Pony.
Pony Pony has scored more points in the clinch so far. Smith pressing his opponent against the ropes. Smith tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Pony struggles to land a body shot inside as Smith controls his hands.
Pony lands with a left to the head. Pony breaks the clinch.
Smith feints a jab promting Pony to slip. Smith then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Pony slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Smith waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Pony.

Pony tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Pony swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Smith. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pony will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Pony throws a quick inside leg kick. Smith has taken the fight to the clinch.

Smith tries to bum rush Pony with a series of wild strikes but Pony uses good footwork to avoid the assault. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Pony Pony will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Smith is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Pony lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. The fight stays on the outside here - Smith looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Smith tries to clinch there but Pony circles away.
Pony circles away from the clinch attempt and Pony counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smith throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pony. Pony is stalking his opponent - BOOM! Switch kick out of nowhere! Smith is not moving; he is out cold!! Wow, what a quick finish that was.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Pony Pony!
