1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Griffin Glass! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Glass looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Morrow is fending him off so far but Glass persists. Nope, Morrow circles away and we're back to standing. Glass looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Morrow drives through with a takedown into guard. Morrow working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Glass's head. Glass keeping moving, preventing Morrow from controlling successfully. Glass is looking for a triangle but Morrow pushes his legs off easily.
Morrow thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Morrow wants to control from the top but Glass keeps moving. Morrow trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Morrow is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Morrow advances to half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Morrow connects with a nice short shot to Glass's temple. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Morrow working over Glass with some ground and pound. Glass looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Glass is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Morrow scores with a couple of nice shots. Morrow is working for a kimura but Glass is defending it quite comfortably.

That's one minute gone in the round. Morrow scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Morrow wants to take a breather but Glass is having none of it. Morrow is pressing down on Glass's thigh, looking to free his foot. Glass is holding on for now. Morrow wants to control but Glass is keeping him busy. Morrow is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Morrow is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Morrow knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Glass on the ground.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Morrow gets a takedown into half guard. Morrow is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Glass is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Morrow pulls his head out easily. Morrow lands with a punch from half guard. Glass has hold of Morrow's hands but Morrow slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Glass is rocked! Morrow trying to mount his opponent but Glass defends it. Morrow working the head and body with strikes. Glass is still in real trouble! Can Morrow finish him?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morrow wants to take a breather but Glass is having none of it. Glass seems to have recovered his senses. Morrow lands strikes from half guard. Morrow wants to pass to mount but Glass is defending the position. Morrow looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Glass with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Morrow lands with a punch from half guard. Glass is not content to let Morrow control the position. Morrow is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Glass! Glass really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Morrow pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Morrow scores with a couple of good head shots there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Morrow connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Morrow lands a big elbow. Morrow has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Glass's face.

Glass wants to hold on but Morrow pushes him away. Glass slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Glass slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Morrow has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Glass to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Morrow is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Glass pulls down on the head and he's put Morrow to sleep! This one is all over!
