Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Igor Prikhodko and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balan swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Aliev counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Aliev shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Balan counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Balan controlling from the top position.
Aliev can't keep his opponent in guard - Balan advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Balan is working for a kimura but Aliev is defending it quite comfortably.

Balan is trying to work for a kimura but Aliev is defending well.

Balan is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Balan works his way into full mount!

Balan is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Aliev is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Aliev flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Balan anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Aliev and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Balan slips an arm under Aliev chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Balan has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Balan is squeezing on Aliev like an anaconda would it's prey. Aliev fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
