Mendez comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Trap Door kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Tiago Mendez has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with James Bean's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, James Bean! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
42 - 39 - 0, fighting out of London, Tiago Mendez! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bean tests Mendez's chin there with a solid looking shot. Bean cracks Mendez with an open hand slap. Mendez misses with a series of wild punches.
Bean drops Mendez with a right and a left! Bean comes rushing in but Mendez regains his composure and manages to keep Bean in guard.
Mendez is rocked!
It looks like Tiago Mendez has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bean is working Mendez over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Mendez is still in real trouble! Can Bean finish him? Mendez is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Bean seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Bean is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bean slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Mendez seems to have recovered his senses. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bean's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's one minute gone in the round. Bean postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Bean definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Bean is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Bean is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Bean lands a couple of elbows. Bean cracks Mendez with a solid left hand. Bean lands a couple of decent looking shots. Bean sitting in guard, not really doing much. Bean is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Bean stands up over Mendez, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Bean is in close to Mendez's body, working some short punches and elbows. Bean controlling from the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bean scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Bean loads up on a big left hand. Mendez felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Bean looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Mendez can't hide his disappointment, as Bean celebrates the victory.
