Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Paxman (ranked 25509 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Pot (ranked 25570 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Pot!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paxman has closed the distance and engaged Pot in a clinch.
Pot wants the takedown. Paxman is fighting it off but Pot persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Paxman's guard against the cage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Paxman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pot's guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Paxman's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Pot really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Paxman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Pot has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Paxman has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Pot gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Paxman tries to close the distance and clinch but Pot swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Paxman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Paxman working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Pot is rocked!
Pot is breathing heavily.

Paxman lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Pot! More strikes land and this one is all over! Paxman jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
