Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hella Alapaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bagdan Khmelnytsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hella Alapaa! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bagdan Khmelnytsky ! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Viktor Lagutenko and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khmelnytsky on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Alapaa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Khmelnytsky paws at him with a jab and circles away. Khmelnytsky punishes Alapaa's body with a nice straight punch. Alapaa uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Khmelnytsky . Alapaa cracks Khmelnytsky with a good jab. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Alapaa tries to close the distance and clinch but Khmelnytsky swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Khmelnytsky looks to land a combination. Alapaa sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Hella Alapaa has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A jab from Khmelnytsky misses. Alapaa staying out of range there. Alapaa tries to clinch up. Alapaa ducks under a wild hook from Khmelnytsky . Khmelnytsky swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Alapaa tries to clinch up but Khmelnytsky circles away and keeps his distance. Alapaa has closed the distance and engaged Khmelnytsky in a clinch.

Alapaa doesn't manage to clinch there - Khmelnytsky circles away.
Alapaa throws a leg kick but Khmelnytsky sees it coming and checks it nicely. Khmelnytsky misses with a jab, cross combination.

Alapaa is looking to clinch but Khmelnytsky is avoiding it.

Khmelnytsky pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. The fight stays on the outside here - Alapaa looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Khmelnytsky avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Khmelnytsky lands an overhand right. Alapaa fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Khmelnytsky is out of range. Khmelnytsky scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Khmelnytsky changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Alapaa is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Khmelnytsky drops Alapaa with a big left hand and mounts him. Alapaa is in big trouble!
Alapaa is rocked!
Hella Alapaa's cut is getting worse. Khmelnytsky thowing shots but they're missing. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Khmelnytsky can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Alapaa is looking to escape. Khmelnytsky sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Khmelnytsky lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Alapaa hang on? Alapaa working to try and regain half guard.

Khmelnytsky looking to ground and pound but Alapaa is blocking nicely. Alapaa tries to hold on but Khmelnytsky postures up. BOOM! Khmelnytsky connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Poor strikes thrown by Khmelnytsky there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Alapaa is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Alapaa prevents any damage by holding on tight. Khmelnytsky thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Hella Alapaa's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Hella Alapaa's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Bagdan Khmelnytsky ! Bagdan Khmelnytsky is the new middleweight champion!
