Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mak McLovin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladmir Inemko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McLovin comes to the cage accompanied by Love Gun, Title: KISS. Inemko has chosen Black Sabbath - Iron Man as his entrance music. Mak McLovin has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladmir Inemko!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big head kick from McLovin and Inemko is sent sprawling to the canvas!


Inemko is rocked!


It looks like Vladmir Inemko has been cut.
McLovin won't allow Inemko to sweep him here.
Inemko is still in real trouble! Can McLovin finish him?
McLovin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
McLovin wants to stand but Inemko has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Inemko seems to have recovered his senses.

Inemko looking to hit a scissor sweep but McLovin is one step ahead there.
McLovin wants to get up but he can't break Inemko's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

McLovin is looking to clinch but Inemko is avoiding it.
Mak McLovin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
McLovin fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

This has been an exciting period of action!
McLovin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Inemko circles away quickly and effectively.

Inemko rushes McLovin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

McLovin breaks the clinch.
Inemko dodges the punch combination from McLovin.
McLovin connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Inemko to the floor! McLovin dives in looking for the finish!
Inemko is looking for a sweep. McLovin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
McLovin sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Inemko defending well though.
Inemko is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
McLovin throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Inemko is holding on to half guard well.
Inemko flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Inemko is trying to maintain the position but McLovin is very close to passing his half guard.
Inemko is looking for a sweep. McLovin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
McLovin connects with a high kick.

Danga de danga de dang - McLovin scores with a four punch combination!
McLovin misses with a jab, cross combination.
McLovin stalks Inemko and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Inemko's face. Inemko staggers backwards, shaken.
McLovin misses with a two punch combination.
Inemko shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McLovin pinned against the cage. McLovin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Inemko shoots in looking for a takedown. McLovin tries to sprawl out of it but Inemko keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McLovin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Mak McLovin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vladmir Inemko.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Inemko decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

McLovin lands with a kick to the temple. Inemko shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
McLovin misses with the combination.
McLovin tries to bum rush Inemko with a series of wild strikes but Inemko uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Inemko drives through and clinches with McLovin against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Inemko drops to a knee looking for a takedown but McLovin gets the underhooks and prevents it.
McLovin comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
McLovin is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
McLovin prevents a takedown attempt there.
Mak McLovin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vladmir Inemko.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

McLovin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Inemko misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Inemko is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Inemko cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vladmir Inemko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!



Inemko closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
McLovin is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Inemko has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Inemko stands up and we're back to a striking position.
McLovin keeps Inemko at a distance using the push kick.
McLovin throws a right and a left that Inemko avoids nicely.
Inemko doesn't manage to clinch there - McLovin circles away.

Inemko fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. McLovin sprawls well initially but Inemko persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
McLovin gets full guard.
Inemko postures up.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

McLovin wants to sweep here but Inemko controlling him for the moment.
Inemko distracts McLovin with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
McLovin wants to stand but Inemko is controlling the position.
McLovin has momentary wrist control but Inemko slips an elbow through the middle.

Inemko tries to free his leg and advance position but McLovin is retaining full guard.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting McLovin here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Inemko is standing up over McLovin. McLovin looks to escape but Inemko dives into side control.

McLovin wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Vladmir Inemko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Inemko has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
