Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ezekel Rage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tom Green!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green misses with a head kick.
Green tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rage tries for a takedown but Green sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Green wants to land a leg kick but Rage is out of range.
Rage wants to clinch.
We've been hearing reports that Rage has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Rage shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Green but Green pushes him off and we're back to square one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Green looks for the body kick but Rage saw that one coming.
Rage shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Green as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ezekel Rage. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Green throws a lazy head kick

and Rage counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Rage.
Green has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Green wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Rage jumps guard and drags Green to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Green throws a strike but Rage rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Green is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rage is controlling him.
Green really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rage. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Green can do anything to dispel that myth.
Green is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Rage cracks Green with a solid left hand.
Rage prevents Green from getting back to his feet.
Rage slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Rage wants to pass the guard but Green is keeping the position.
Green wants to stand up but Rage is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Rage stands and steps away. Green gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Green misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rage slips a straight right by Green.
Rage throws a head kick that misses.
Green is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Green misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Green throws a sloppy head kick and Rage moves out of range easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rage.
Green has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.
Rage tries to score a power double leg takedown but Green sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rage somewhat.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Rage moves into the clinch.

Rage escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rage on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Green stuffs the takedown attempt from Rage. Rage gets slowly back to his feet.
Green misses with a wild combination.
Rage goes for a double leg but Green avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Green continues to drive forward.
Rage looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Green is fending him off so far but Rage persists. Nope, Green circles away and we're back to standing.
Green shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Rage makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Rage throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Green counters with a big head kick but Rage shrugs it off.
Green tries a head kick but it misses.
Rage attempts a counter takedown but Green avoids it well and moves away.
Rage swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ezekel Rage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rage is looking to clinch but Green is avoiding it.

Green knocks Rage to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?


Rage is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Green lands a strong strike to the head of Rage. That's dazed him! Green looking to finish here. Rage is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Green lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tom Green!
