Cole checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Marshall Matthews takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Marshall Matthews takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Cole connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Marshall Matthews tumbling to the canvas! Cole pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Marshall Matthews was done - good stoppage!

A relieved looking Rico Cole thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
