Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Donatello Bradman and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harada waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Melendez.
Harada fails with an attempt to clinch.
Melendez takes one to the chin there.
A head kick by Melendez misses
and Harada counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Harada fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Melendez.
Harada misses with a wild body shot.
Harada misses the jab.
Harada connects with a right hand. Melendez shakes it off.
Melendez is rocked!
Melendez throws a right hand that misses
and Harada rattles Melendez with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Melendez tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Harada dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Melendez stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Akira Harada!
