Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joshua Syracuse (ranked 4015 p4p, 481 weight class) and Dukey Tots (ranked 5686 p4p, 620 weight class). Dukey Tots has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Joshua Syracuse! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dukey Tots! The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Topper Green and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Syracuse misses with a body shot.
A little jabbing left from Tots on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Syracuse works the jab nicely. Syracuse rushes Tots and presses him up against the cage. Tots wants to take the fight to the mat but Syracuse manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Tots on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Tots breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Tots takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Syracuse lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Syracuse. Tots takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Syracuse lands with a good body shot. Syracuse really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Tots shoots in and gets a takedown into Syracuse's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tots postures up.
Tots lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Syracuse has momentary wrist control but Tots slips an elbow through the middle. Tots stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Syracuse swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tots wants to control from the top but Syracuse keeps moving. Tots postures up and lands a big shot to Syracuse's brow. Syracuse utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Tots lands a couple of decent looking shots. Tots with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tots engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Syracuse working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Tots. Tots postures up and lands a big shot to Syracuse's brow. Syracuse working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Tots.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tots missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Tots has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Tots stands up from guard. Let's bang! Tots dives in for a single leg takedown but Syracuse sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Syracuse scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Tots gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Joshua Syracuse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tots looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Syracuse is fending him off so far but Tots persists. Nope, Syracuse circles away and we're back to standing. Joshua Syracuse has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dukey Tots. A leg kick checked by Tots. Syracuse cracks a nice hook into Tots's ribs. Syracuse tries to sprawl but Tots drives through with a takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Syracuse wants to improve his position but Tots is controlling well.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Syracuse is trying to stand up here but Tots is controlling him well. Tots missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Tots looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Syracuse with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tots wants to control but Syracuse is keeping him busy. Syracuse on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Syracuse tries to get out of the position. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Tots lands a nice short elbow. Syracuse tries to kick Tots off but Tots keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Tots is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Syracuse defends it well. Tots lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Tots is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Tots has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Syracuse defend it? Tots steps over the head and cranks it - Syracuse is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Tots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Dukey Tots! Joshua Syracuse spoke after the fight, saying 'Congratulations to my opponent. He was the better fighter tonight.'.
