Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mamed Materla (ranked 4732 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kamil Reljic (ranked 5263 p4p, 0 weight class). Mamed Materla has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mamed Materla! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kamil Reljic! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Materla. Reljic throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Reljic tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Materla defends well and Reljic ends up having to push Materla into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Materla swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Reljic rushes Materla and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Materla as Reljic tries to tie him up. Materla lands a left hand.
Materla misses with a knee to the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Reljic gets control of Materla's arms and successfully pulls guard. Reljic will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Reljic is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Materla is aware though and is defending well. Reljic being controlled here, momentarily. Reljic seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Materla wants to pass the guard but Reljic is keeping the position. Materla has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Reljic has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Materla can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Materla wants to control from the top but Reljic keeps moving. That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Reljic looking for submissions off his back. Reljic looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Materla is looking for a kimura here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Reljic is in all sorts of trouble here.

That was a close round but I would say that Mamed Materla will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Reljic drives through with a takedown into Materla's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Materla kicks Reljic off and gets to his feet. The fight moves into the clinch position. Materla lands a takedown into guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Reljic closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Materla quickly recovers to half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Materla tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Reljic has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Reljic takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Poor strikes thrown by Reljic there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Kamil Reljic showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Materla is looking to advance position but Reljic has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Reljic trying to control but he's not successful this time. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Materla feinted with a counter takedown. Materla misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Reljic moves into range and clinches up with Materla. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Reljic stops a takedown attempt from Materla.

Reljic has Materla pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Materla manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
And that's the end of the fight! Kamil Reljic comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Reljic has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
