Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Condit (ranked 7719 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chang Sun Lee (ranked 8654 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Robbie Condit has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Robbie Condit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chang Sun Lee!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Steve Erwin and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Sun Lee misses.
Condit looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Sun Lee swats away the attempt to clinch by Condit.

Sun Lee gets a double leg takedown into Condit's guard.
Sun Lee pushes down on Condit's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Condit has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Sun Lee slows the pace down in half guard.
It looks like Sun Lee might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sun Lee wants to stand up but Condit is controlling the position.
Condit wants to improve his position but Sun Lee is controlling well.

Sun Lee looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Condit with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Condit keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Condit looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Condit is trying to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sun Lee is looking to advance position but Condit won't allow it.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Condit is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sun Lee pulls his head out easily.
Sun Lee is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Sun Lee tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sun Lee throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Condit to regain full guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Sun Lee closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sun Lee lands in his opponent's guard.

Sun Lee slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Sun Lee wants to control from the top but Condit keeps moving.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Condit has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Sun Lee is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Condit.
Sun Lee wants to lay and pray for a moment but Condit keeps working.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

I wouldn't like to be where Condit is right now.

Sun Lee tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sun Lee has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Sun Lee lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Condit is looking to regain half guard here but Sun Lee keeps moving and retains side control.
Sun Lee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Condit. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sun Lee wants to control but Condit is keeping him busy.

Condit is trying to control Sun Lee's posture but Sun Lee avoids it.

Sun Lee decides to stand back up. Sun Lee steps back and let's Condit get back to his feet.
Condit dives in for a single leg takedown but Sun Lee sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Chang Sun Lee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!



Sun Lee drives through with a takedown into Condit's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Condit escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sun Lee gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Condit looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Sun Lee controlling from the top position.
Sun Lee throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Condit works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
A head kick misses from Condit.

Sun Lee moves into range and clinches up with Condit.

Sun Lee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sun Lee slaps away a takedown attempt from Condit, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Sun Lee throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Sun Lee gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Condit working aggressively here.
Sun Lee has Condit pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Condit manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Sun Lee is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Chang Sun Lee comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Sun Lee has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
