Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taj Mahal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mahal is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Warning. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bimbo Slice ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Taj Mahal! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Daniel Cesar and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slice throws a nice looking combination but Mahal bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Slice swinging wilding here.
Mahal throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slice 's waist but Slice gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mahal off to one side. Slice keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Mahal clinches with his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mahal jumps guard.
Slice is looking to stand up but Mahal won't let him. Slice has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Mahal looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's one minute gone in the round. Mahal has his foot on Slice 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Slice works his way back into a safe position though. Mahal pulls Slice in close to his closed guard and prevents Slice from doing any damage or advancing position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Slice wants to stand but Mahal has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Slice looking to pass the guard. Slice is stalling in the full guard. Slice wants to stand but Mahal is controlling his posture from full guard. Slice stays in close to Mahal's body and controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slice tries to free his leg and advance position but Mahal is retaining full guard. Mahal avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Mahal has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Slice can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Mahal trying to keep a closed guard but Slice is proving a slippery customer.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Slice is looking to stand up but Mahal won't let him. Mahal looking for a triangle here. Slice is fighting it but it looks tight! Mahal pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Slice is tapping out - this one is all over!
