PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jean Howell (ranked 25041 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Idontknow (ranked 6082 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Idontknow throws a head kick but Howell moves out of range.
Idontknow throws a right hand that Howell ducks under and follows up with a left that Howell also avoids with ease.
Howell tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Idontknow defends well and Howell ends up having to push Idontknow into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Idontknow wants to pass the guard but Howell is defending well.

Idontknow is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Idontknow ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Idontknow no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Howell will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Howell is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Idontknow gets his way!
