2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcus Timmons! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Timmons clinches up against the cage. Timmons tries to pull guard but Mcpherson forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Mcpherson leaning against his opponent.
Mcpherson is working for takedown but Timmons is calmly controlling the position for now. Timmons tries a knee to the head but Mcpherson blocks it.
A bit of stalling here from Mcpherson.
Mcpherson jumps guard but Timmons turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Timmons looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mcpherson walks away with a smile on his face. Timmons gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Mcpherson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Timmons gets in close and instigates a clinch. Mcpherson is looking for a takedown. Timmons jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mcpherson walks away with a smile on his face. Timmons gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Timmons throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Mcpherson stumbling backwards into the cage! Mcpherson bounces back off the cage towards Timmons, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Timmons lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Timmons celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
