Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Hart (ranked 631 p4p, 86 weight class) and DJ Apollo (ranked 880 p4p, 118 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hart throws a jab when Apollo was well out of range.
Apollo slips a jab and a cross from Hart.
Nice defenses there by Apollo.
Apollo slips under a jab.
Apollo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Hart looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Apollo uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hart has time to react.

Apollo drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Hart defends it well.
Apollo thuds his right hand into Hart's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

DJ Apollo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Apollo feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Harts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

That's time! Hart's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Apollo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hart.

Apollo checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Apollo tries to bum rush Hart with a series of wild strikes but Hart uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A quick step to the side and Hart tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Apollo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hart manages to avoid it.

Apollo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hart as he avoids it easily.

Hart misses with a punch on the inside.
Apollo pulls guard successfully.
Apollo tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Apollo lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Hart wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Apollo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hart with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

I've got Apollo winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
