The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Munter tries to close the distance and clinch up but Simpson swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Munter does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Munter tries to close the distance and clinch but Simpson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Simpson misses with a series of wild punches.
Munter is looking to clinch but Simpson is avoiding it.
Simpson throws a right hand that Munter ducks under and follows up with a left that Munter also avoids with ease.

Munter cracks the inside of Simpson's front leg.

and Simpson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Simpson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Munter has time to react.
Simpson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Simpson.
Munter pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Munter loads up on a big right hand but Simpson slips the punch.
Simpson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Munter misses with a kick to the body.
Munter instigates a clinch.
Munter's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Simpson counters with a left to the body.
Munter looks gassed!

Simpson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Charlie Simpson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Munter wants to clinch but Simpson slips to the side
and Simpson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Simpson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Simpson throws a right and a left that Munter avoids nicely.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Munter clinches but Simpson breaks the clinch
and Simpson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Simpson moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Simpson rushes Munter with punches - Munter moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Munter goes down! Simpson follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
